As part of our service, you get an initial free phone call consultation, where we talk about your project, followed by a home visit.

A nominal design fee is agreed at each stage of the project.

Stage 1

INTERIOR DESIGN CONSULTATION & MEASURE

This first initial meeting enables me to understand your vision, aspirations, your likes and dislikes. It is great if you already have some ideas or pictures of things that you would like, but it is also fine if you want some fresh inspiration and give me a blank canvas. I will be taking detailed measurements to space plan your new room.

 
 

Stage 2

INTERIOR DESIGN CONCEPT

Once I have all the information of your space, I will effectively communicate to you the visual appeal; described by the different textures of fabrics, colour swatches, lighting and flooring. This will help you visualise the design concept that reflects your unique personality, lifestyle and needs.

 
 

Stage 3

DESIGN PRESENTATION WITH SPECIFICS

Once the concept design is approved and finer details are in place, I will present a more detailed and accurate design, detailing specific elements such as room lay-out, lighting, electric materials and finishes. Interior designs are put together to fit your budget.

 
 

Stage 4

DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION

 

Moving forward, a planned schedule of the work will be carried out by a trusted team of trade professionals. Should you want to work with your own preferred trades, I am very happy to work alongside them.

I will ensure at all times that there is a clear communication and that the work will be carried out to a high standard. My attention to detail ensures a high-quality finish throughout the entire project from initial concept to the finished turnkey solution.

SOURCING

I work closely with my clients and with friends that are local artisans, in supporting their business and community, incorporating unique furniture or accessory pieces to fit your style.

Daniela Potter Designs sources fabrics, wallpapers, furniture, accessories, floor coverings and all other relevant components for the scheme.

 
 

Stage 6

DESIGN INSTALLATION

Once all the building work is done and you are happy with the project, I will dress the room with all the finishing touches - styling your room at its best, showcasing your vision.
