I am your local Interior Design Studio, based in and around Canterbury, serving clients and homeowners across Kent. As an interior designer, I work with homeowners and businesses alike to design and produce beautiful interiors, on time and with tailor-made packages to suit your budget. Designing functional areas, colour consultation, soft furnishing and upholstery or a shopping trip to help you buy with confidence the items for your home.
Daniela’s incredible creative journey began with a dream, as a little girl, that one day she will have her own interior design business.
Daniela grew up appreciating and loving the vintage pieces that her grandma had. She learnt practical skills like sewing, hand embroidery, knitting and rug making from old clothes. The obvious choice in her studies was art and design, which led into a degree in interior design.
Daniela has worked for high street retailers including Top Shop in Oxford Circus, London, Bennetts Ltd in Derby and C&H Fabrics in Canterbury where she implemented window displays and worked closely with customers helping them to select fabrics and accessories. She has developed a passion for fabrics, learning how they work together. Latterly, she has managed her own concession department, offering bespoke curtain making, selecting from a wide range of beautiful fabrics.
Daniela is an interior designer that embraces creativity, planning & designing spaces.
She loves being surrounded by colour charts and fabric swatches. Creativity is a beautiful gift given to her. She welcomes any opportunity to share her creative skills; ranging from sewing, hand embroidery to upholstery.
Daniela loves a bargain - even if it is something thrown in a skip, she sees the potential and transforms it into treasure. Her renovated home is taking shape. Room-by-room it has been thoughtfully planned; details such as thermostatic radiator valves matching the décor and style offer the final touch - and she closes the door with a satisfied smile.
She nurtures her homegrown vegetable garden and creates the most delicious meals out of fresh, organic vegetables and fruits, plated beautifully for her family to enjoy.
Daniela is a busy mum, cherishing fun times with her precious, beautiful girls that are equally creative and talented. She treasures the time spent with her girls, from cooking to restyling their wooden doll’s house.
Daniela feels that this gift of creativity is to be shared and should not be restricted to her own home. She longs to share it with you, to create your unique home, your space where you can relax and where you can celebrate special moments with your loved ones - a home that you all can enjoy and appreciate.
